coaching + mentoring for creatives and multi-passionates who want to get unstuck, find clarity & build momentum.

It’s so easy to get lost in the noise of overwhelm, perfectionism and your inner dreamshitter.

It can also feel a lot like this cycle, where you can literally start anywhere:

building a life you love takes a shitload of courage, but you don't have to do it alone.

And I fucking love what I do! I’ve spend the past 10+years partnering with hundreds of creative and multi-passionate women to helping them cultivate the confidence, courage and clarity to create and sustain a fulfilling and wildly aligned life they love.

I’m a Messy Rebel (uncover your rebel archetype here), neurospicy and an absolute nerd for all things getting shit done, getting out of your own way and living life on your own terms.

I’m obsessed with new notebooks, I love Dolly Parton and I stand by my motto that everything changes when you believe you matter.

“Meg has the knack of getting right to the crux of an issue, of getting me to see things I might not have thought about. She has a huge font of knowledge to call on and it all comes with a huge serving of compassion and understanding. Each time - and I keep coming back for more because I find them so incredibly valuable - I might be tying myself up in knots, or feeling generally unsure or confused about something. Meg helps me to untie those knots, straighten me out and see things clearly, and yet it's never Meg pushing her opinions or ideas onto me either - it's completely personalised to help me do me authentically. It's time spent to talk things through, get straightened out, explore feelings, make plans, make decisions, and get clarity, with the most compassionate, knowledgeable, supportive person you can imagine.” -

my philosophy on building a life you love

I believe that you have all the answers inside you, it’s just about excavating them.

I believe life, work and creativity are always tangled up. There there are glorious multitudes in all of us, it’s never black and white and we have to intentionally make space for your nuance, find your own unique path and not force you into a neat box.

I don’t believe in 5-step formulas or blueprints. I don’t believe in get quick rich schemes, I don’t believe there is one ‘right’ way to do things, and

I believe in compassionate productivity. Having compassion towards ourselves isn’t just a fluffy nice-to-have, it’s seriously strategic, too.

Examples of what we could work on in black lettering on a yellow background

I work with creatives and multi-passionates in all areas of life. Sometimes I’m helping someone build a creative practice or starting/ finishing a project. Sometimes I’m helping someone launch a project, change career or put themselves out there. And sometimes I’m helping people with gentle (or firm if requested!) accountability to build flexible routines and habits that allow them to do what really matters and live life on their own terms.

Together we find clarity, focus, get unstuck and into imperfect action:

FIND CLARITY

Maybe you’re in a place in your life where you can’t articulate what you do and your purpose, you’re making a decision or your projects and ideas feel a bit muddled.
Together we’ll explore possibilities (including the wild ones), find next steps and get you moving!

FIND FOCUS

Get your epic ideas out of your beautiful notebooks and into the world! We’ll take something (business/podcast/book/project) from an idea to a tangible project, figure out the next steps and create your roadmap together, with a shitload of compassion and gentle accountability!

GET UNSTUCK

We’ll work through the fear, uncertainty and paralysis that often accompanies being a creative and/or multi-passionate and putting yourself out there. We’ll work to bring back your mojo, build systems to help you build a joyful everyday life, and find ways to move forward even if everything feels pretty damn hard.

“I loved the brainstorming and collaboration and having the opportunity to tap into Meg’s extensive knowledge and experience but it also felt very personal. Meg completely adapted to my agenda and recognised my needs throughout the sessions. I loved how we did big thinking and got down to the detail too. I hoped I'd get clarity on where I wanted to go but I didn't know I'd make so much progress in such a short space of time.”

when you work with me, what you’re really getting is:

🕵️‍♀️ Someone on your team; a partner in crime. (My clients often describe my approach as ‘having a totally empathetic and get-shit-done best friend’ with them.)

💡 The clarity to see the bigger picture, your blindspots and the things that set you apart - which are SO hard to see when you’re so close to your own work.

🙌 Strategic support from a creative and multi-passionate coach who gets what it is to do things differently, and make a difference in the world in a way that feeds your soul.

🌈 Encouragement, motivation and practical strategies to help you achieve your dreams, overcome self-sabotage and tools to help you pick yourself up when you fall off the wagon.

While it can be really scary bringing someone else into your journey, it can also be an absolute gamechanger.

I remember what it was like before working with my first coach. I knew I was too close to my own work to see the forest from the trees, but it felt scary bringing someone else in. I wondered if they’d truly get me and bringing someone else into the process was completely new to me.

I’ve worked with a number of coaches throughout my own journey and it has made SUCH a difference to have a dedicated space for me with someone who gets me. It has given me the clarity to see the bigger picture, my blindspots and the courage, clarity and confidence to do the things. It’s been been absolutely invaluable to say the least.

Pssst! Wondering what the fuck a coach even is? I put together a quick, no-bullshit guide that you can read here.

what my clients say:

“Meg and I do amazing work together. I provide the challenges and she has the skills to help me find the wins, pull out the good and tease the positive out of every situation. She j ust makes sense. Meg asks pointed and amazing questions that somehow empowers me and coax out my own answers. She is very energized, optimistic and inspired. The way she lives her own creative multi-passionate life comes through in her coaching.I feel like she truly cares and is the best cheerleader I’ve got in my life. I recommend coaching with Meg Kissack!”
Maryam Keramaty

“Meg made me feel safe and seen right from the beginning - and I needed that. I trusted her very early on. I felt really seen and heard and I felt that she 'got me' very quickly. I felt like she was on my side right from the beginning. Before our work together I was feeling stuck, trapped by fear - particularly of being seen. I was taking baby steps but something was holding me back from taking any leaps! Now I feel motivated, courageous, ALIVE!!! I also feel proud of the progress we made - and I have made since. Meg sparked something inside of me - something that was there but that I had pushed down through fear recently.”

Susie Bell

“The best thing about coaching is that it gives me time to be unashamedly ‘me’. From the first second I met Meg, I knew I could be completely honest and bare my soul. I love the structure of the our sessions and the fact that Meg brings suggestions or a different perspective to the table, which is super helpful. The session I had with Meg was an absolute game-changer for me and I’ve lost count of the amount of breakthroughs I’ve had. Meg is literally sunshine in human form and I leave each session buzzing for the next one.” - Amy Peters

“Meg’s expertly facilitated sessions and coaching has enabled me to learn new ideas, prioritise time for my well-being, be inspired and achieve so much more than I ever imagined possible.”

Sandra Taylor

“In our sessions, we both worked hard and, crucially, together and, every time, that hard work led to invaluable insights that I go back to on a daily basis. Meg’s greatest skill are her empathy, creative thinking and adaptability. She listens with great care and adapts according to my needs, even if it means contradicting a previous thought/idea. That, to me, is crucial for a coach. And she’s honest about your own experience and abilities, which means that our relationship feels equal. I now feel more Wholly Caroline outside of my writing, which is a relief. I also have anchors in place to help me be kind and more nurturing to myself.”

“Meg's coaching style is like a booster shot of enthusiasm and reframes all those limiting beliefs which just lurk under the surface waiting to sabotage your business day. Also, she's funny, realistic and practical on how to manage those every day balances between business, life and self-care. I like that Meg is funny - I work best in an environment of humour and this has really worked for me.”

Emma Worthington

“My favourite part of working with Meg was when she came up with ideas that captured exactly what I wanted but never could have come up with. The creative ideas she comes up with are wonderful; the fact that she shares your excitement and helps you turn them into something real makes it even better.”

“Before working with Meg I was stuck on how my passions and goals could come together as a cohesive whole, and also how I could monetise things beyond tech. I felt like the disparate parts of myself had to remain separate. I now feel like I have a plan and a direction, and it can encompass all the different parts of me. The thing I found the most helpful was the diagram Meg drew showing how things I care about overlap and intersect. Meg helped me look at my career and what i thought were "extra-curriculars" in a very different way. I liked that Meg obviously thought quite a lot about what points she wanted to cover before you asked questions, as well as exploring and changing course as things came up. I feel so much more excited and positive about the future, and I have a plan.” - Olu Niyi-Awosusi, web developer, social justice activist, podcaster

“Meg is a fantastic coach who truly focuses on the whole person in her work. She is skilled at organization/planning/accountability and will help you get your project off the ground (if that is what you need). She also may surprise you in being able to guide you to a different path (that you've had inside all along and just haven't been able to see) or a new way of thinking about your life. Meg is someone who can meet you exactly where you are, and help you find the best way to move forward.” - Anna French

“Before working with Meg, I was very blocked and very stressed. I didn’t feel like I had any control over my workflow and I felt pretty isolated. Working with Meg has overhauled my approach to work! Although the cost is totally reasonable, this was the first time I felt like I could justify spending that on myself - and I’m so glad I did! I have so many more strategies not only for my work, for my work life balance and everything feels possible! Working with Meg was all I thought it would be and more. Meg really got what I needed - even when I didn’t! If you're looking for ass kicking and perspective, do it. Do it do it do ittttt. DO IT!” - Kaite Welsh

“Meg was compassionate, open, asked lots of good questions, genuinely interested in me and what I needed and how we could best get me to where I wanted to be. The experience was amazingly helpful and motivating for me. The way she helped me to reframe things that I had known before but never really “got” have made a huge difference in my outlook and on the future of my creative projects and the creative career that I am making for myself.” — Kate Duterra

“Meg enabled me to unpick a whole knitting bag of tangles that have prevented me moving forward with my business. She had such clarity, shining a light on it all, so that I could break down an unsurmountable issue into small tasks and get on with it! Moving forward I can ABSOLUTELY see a way ahead that is manageable. - Lorraine Fiander

“If you feel like you have something positive to offer the world but don’t exactly know what, if you’re afraid you could be doing so much more to create the world in which you want to live but don’t know what action to take, if you want to bring your full, genuine self into the world but could use some encouragement, Meg is absolutely the woman to work with.” - Rebecca Rose Thering

Before working together I was overwhelmed, unorganized, unmotivated, and felt like I needed a “boost” to get going. With Meg’s help, I gathered up enough confidence to submit to a publication, and I got published!!!! I now say to myself “what would Meg say” when I start to let my inner dreamshitter take over. I only have to refer to a quick Daily Pep or look back at my coaching notes to squish the negativity and get going” Julie Jayne

FAQs

How does it work, logistically?

Coaching sessions happen online via Zoom and you will receive an mp3 recording of our call.

What happens before our session(s)?

Before our first session, you’ll be invited to fill out a pre-session questionnaire. Everyone I work with finds this hugely helpful and clarifying, before we even get started! This gives more context, and brings me up to speed so we can maximise our time together.

What if we’re in different timezones?

I work with women all over the world :) I’m based in the UK and many of my coaching clients are spread across Europe, North America and Australia. We’ll find a time that works for us both!

I know I want to book a one-off session!

Fabulous, I can’t wait to work together! Book your session here!

What kind of topics are not a good fit for coaching?

The sky really is the limit! Though I should point out the obvious - I am not a mental health or healthcare professional, and I cannot give health, legal or financial advice!

What can I expect from our work together?

Our work together will be tailored to you and your unique situation. I am very action oriented and you’ll leave every session with a clear plan of your next steps. We’ll have a laugh along the way. Sometimes we’ll cry, but there will alway be laughter! You might start our session with one thing in mind and leave heading in another direction entirely; my clients find that working together sometimes helps ignite parts of themselves they didn’t even know were there. I don’t provide guarantees, as no good coach should do either.

What if I’m an introvert? Do you work with neuro-spicy people? What if I’m nervous?

Then you’re in good hands! Many of my clients are introverts and I do everything I can to make you feel as comfortable as possible :) Many of my clients are also neurospicy and we’ll work in a way that works for your brain. If you haven’t already, book a discovery call and we’ll have a no pressure, no obligation chat which is really more like grabbing a hot chocolate together!
